I know some people dont like the idea but football has to be brought into the 21st century now and video technology used. There are too many big games like yesterday when this is happening, England v Germany WC, Ireland v France qualifier spring immediately to mind. Video technology makes rugby and cricket fair and the difficult decisions that need to be made are correct, why shouldn’t this happen in football too. It takes a matter of seconds to see whether or not a ball is over the line or not, as was the case yesterday.
While Blatter and his corrupt regime rule the game I don’t video technology will be used, the most he will go will be to introduce another bloody official on each by-line just like the European competitions, and what a waste of space they are!
Agree completely V.M.M.P whilst Blatter, Platini and the rest of the muppet show are at the helm technology will not be used despite the majority of the football world crying out for it. The world cup in Qatar is a prime example of what these people are like, not in touch with the football world at all just corrupt individuals gaining a few quid where they can because of the very fortunate position they find themselves in 
It’s jobs for the boys in FIFA and UEAFA, it’s not what you know it’s who you know and how many brown envelopes you can provide in return for their endorsement of your idea. Football will remain in the dark ages in respect of using technology while other sports embrace it and make it work ala hawkeye in cricket and tennis and the video ref in rugby.
It again will be brushed under the carpet until the next incident arises.
