Every member who had not already uploaded an avatar will now have been allocated one at random, and should also have been sent an email to inform them of this. The avatar can be altered at any time, the idea is for users to upload their own. This should brighten up the site, and is one stage in a plan to extend the functions of this site, so it becomes even more of a community effort.
