Witton’s Development Squad are scheduled to travel to Barnoldswick Town Reserves in a Lancashire League West fixture on Wednesday night. The fixture has been postponed twice already this season due to the weather so hopefully, it’s third time lucky. The Lancashire club have enjoyed a very good campaign so far and currently sit third in the table but Witton have managed to find a bit of form in recent weeks. Their mini-run lasting two games before they came up against a very strong RIASA West team in Yorkshire at the weekend, losing 6-1. Wednesday’s game will be a difficult test for Witton but one they can go into with belief that they can impose themselves on the game and hopefully take something from it. Kick off at The Silentnight Stadium is 7.45pm.

Directions: M65 to end (Colne). Straight on at roundabout, continue through two sets of traffic lights to roundabout. Turn left to Barnoldswick. On entering Barnoldswick, continue through traffic lights and go straight on at mini roundabout, through built up area. On leaving built up area, turn right into Green Berfield Lane (Club signposted). Bear right on track to rear of ground and car park.
Parking: The club has a large, free car park which is situated behind the club room.
