Witton make the very short trip to Barnton on Tuesday night in their second pre season friendly.
A decent workout against a very strong Radcliffe side at the weekend despite the result, but the management team will have seen things that pleased them and also other things that they will look to improve on.
A number of changes in personnel and a few new additions plus trialists will be looking to impress and hopefully figure in the manager’s plans for the season ahead.
New faces have already arrived in the form of midfielder Charlie Duke, winger Wealth DaSilva and striker Saul Henderson, who will add competition for places in the weeks and months ahead.
Pre season is more about experimenting and trying new things but Witton will still be looking to get results from pre season as that will surely breed confidence to the squad.
Barnton will also be hoping to impose themselves on the game and pose questions for Witton to think about.

Directions: Turn off the A533 (Northwich to Runcorn) at the Beech Tree Inn (Barnton Village) into Beech Lane. Turn right at the ‘T’ junction with Townfield Lane - the ground is 200 yards on the left signed Memorial Hall. Note parking restrictions well signed.
Parking: Parking is limited around the stadium. Parking is available at the Library & School on Townfield Lane.
Admission is by way of Card or cash payments at the turnstiles.

Social Club: The Clubhouse is inside the stadium and houses a licensed bar.
Please note: Alcohol is permitted inside the stadium but MUST be in a plastic beaker.
Refreshments: There is a Tea Bar selling a selection of snacks and drinks.
Toilet Facilities: There is a modern toilet block for ladies and gentlemen but unfortunately, there are no wheelchair accessible toilet facilities.

Witton are next in action on Saturday afternoon when we welcome Winsford Town to the U Lock It Stadium for a 3pm kick off.
The two teams will contest the inaugural Reg Hardingham Memorial Trophy.
