New look Witton kicked off their pre season campaign with a 1-1 draw at neighbours Barnton on Saturday afternoon.
The Villagers, fresh from their 3-1 victory against City of Liverpool FC, got off to a perfect start when they went in front on 2 minutes through Chris Hunt.
Witton equalised on 22 minutes following an excellent move and that was the end of the scoring but, a good workout with so many new players and Witton now look towards their first home friendly on Tuesday night for the visit of League Two side Barrow AFC - kick off 7.45pm.
