Can’t complain about the effort as the players did try hard. I don’t think we were as tight at the back as we could have been and the midfield was really poor. Thought Pearson the new lad put himself well in the first half until the Ref booked him for a non foul!!. He was moved to the wing and was far less influencial in the 2nd half as a consequence of the booking and us having subs who were not fully fit (Injuries). If anything this game was lost due to us having a scratch team with Henry, Heler, Tandy and a fit Pritch I feel we would have won.
This is what worries me though our lads can’t afford to be sent off/booked for Dissent, fighting or arguing, ok if its for a mistimed tackle they happen but the other offences are in our hands to avoid. Henry has been very guilty of this but Peter Heler’s sending off was a joke. I just hope our manager really gets the message over to the players before they go out. Its no good having suspended players sitting in the stand especially with a wafer thin squad hit by injuries!! This though is perhaps where the man management side of things is’nt the best.
Anyway lets hope we can give it a go Tuesday its a big ask but if we can pick from a decent squad then with maximum effort we could turn them over but they are a good team. So up and at them Gary prove me personally wrong!!

AS Mickleover are an attractive football team all you stay away Wittoners might want to make a comeback for this one as I think it will be a good game anyway for the purists!! So come on forget the Tellie for a night and come and give it a go!!
We were disjointed, they were organised and played as a team.
Plenty of effort from our lads, no criticism there, but we have a vastly different 14 every game for varying reasons. It’s hardly surprising we didn’t keep possession long.
Our centre mid just didn’t compare with theirs.
Anyone who thinks we can win more than a couple of our remaining fixtures is either deluded or isn’t watching very often.
While there’s a mathematical chance there’s hope, and I’ll be at all the games bar one, but I now fear that fifth place is realistically beyond us.
