Did you see the gate at Vics this week? Where are the missing millions? (sorry, dozens!!)
WHS.
At least they’ll have Chris Blackburn’s friends and family there on Tuesday. Blackie was immense this evening against Burton Albion as Weymouth were desparately unlucky to lose 1-2, missed a penalty - although Burton had earlier - and then when one on one the forward chickened out and sidefooted the ball instead of rounding the keeper. 1-0 up after an hour shame they lost. Mind you I’m sure both Maamaria and Heathcote watching were very happy!
we are struggling thats why we are getting the low crowds this season your at the top of the unibond and get 500 if that sort your own gates out before commenting on ours
ps congratulations to the witton fan who was arrested for smashing wing mirrors in our car park:laugh:

It’s ok Vics fan, I’m sure you’d still be getting over a 1000 every week if you were in the Unibond… oh sorry you’re not even getting 1000 in the Conference, my mistake!
A Vics fan I spoke to the other day has stopped going because he considers it to be a chore!
I am more concerned as to our own gates, and whilst we have made a lot of progress this season, our gates should be over 500 considering the product on offer and the amount of ‘Wittoners’ that allegedly reside in the town.
With regard to V**s attendances, who gives a flying **** - let’s concentrate on our own progress.
As said above, we have too many stay-away fans for us to be commenting on others’ predicament. Onwards and upwards.
Come on the Albion!
Agreed, let’s concenrate on taking as many as possible to Marine (would be FANtastic to have 150+ Wittoners cheering our boys to 3 points), and then everyone should try and drag someone new along with them on Monday to swell the numbers and make certain of a great atmosphere.
Get everyone behind goal, and sing our hearts out!!
even though we dont get big crowds at least they behave
Frankly I’m impressed.
Well,Conman has beaten you lot into submission and good behaviour in the past.
The “beat” goes on,I suppose.
Vics Fan - Vauxhall away/Alty at home??? Glass houses and all that.
Any true Witton supporter would have been at Guiseley on Saturday and certainly not acting like a moron and paying into Connetts pension fund.
Its really a silly argument this because I just think its a shame that both clubs could be better supported. As I’ve said before though there are two things that really upset me on this issue One is Vics fan slagging off Witton fans as badly behaved when this is simply not true, only last week we had a Gateshead fan praising our support and I seem to remember we have a great reputation at places like Lincoln, Stamford, Hednesford, North Ferriby among others.
The other thing that irritates is the gentleman who rings in to the radio phone in and talks abour being in league football the season after next.I hope he is genuinely joking because it will never happen. Survival in the conference for Vics is real achievement and its ok living beyond your means for years on end but we are fast running out of millionaires around the northwich district who can ride to the rescue to bail them out.
The other thing I would point out to Vics fan is at least our 500 crowd is watching on a ground that is owned by Witton Albion shareholders. Ok it might not be as luxurious as Conmans stadium but it is ours and when we go on it we are not contributing to one man’s pension fund!
Well said mona

If this story is true and someone was responsible for criminal damage outside your ground then they should be dealt with whether they support Witton, Altrincham, Crewe or anyone else. As has been said I would doubt any dedicated Witton fan would not have been in Guiseley and would have instead have chosen to go to the VS on Saturday.
If there is evidence that this was a Witton fan then the authorities should pass their details to both clubs so that they can make a decision on allowing this person into games.
(On the other hand if it was Connett’s wing mirror that was smashed police may still be wading their way through the 500+ statements from people who admitted to causing the damage)!
