Witton are on the road again on Tuesday night when they travel to Bootle FC in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.
The Bucks have made a mixed start to the season with a home victory against Newcastle Town on the opening day of the season but then were beaten 2-0 at Widnes in their second league game.
Their involvement in the Emirates FA Challenge Cup ended at the Extra Preliminary Round stage with a surprising 3-1 defeat at the hands on North West Counties League Prestwich Heys.
Last season saw the Bucks finish in thirteenth place in the West Division table, a position they currently find themselves in going into this game.
The corresponding fixture last season saw Bootle come out on top by the odd goal in three, the winner coming in the last ten minutes.
The return fixture at the U Lock It Stadium saw the points shared in a 2-2 draw, with Albion’s goals coming from Elliot Rokka and a Joe Duckworth penalty.
Witton go into the game off the back of a hard-earned victory at Congleton Town in the Emirates FA Challenge Cup at the weekend, a win particularly pleasing as they had to do it without Ollie Martin in goal and Tom Pope along with last season’s top scorer Joe Duckworth
Bootle were amongst the teams expected to do well this season so Witton will have to perform in order to come away with the right result.
Kick off at Berry Street Garage Stadium is 7.45pm.

Good point at big spending Bootle, a steady start from us.
Now we need a few wins to keep in touch with the early leaders, looking like Leek will be close to the top this campaign. UTA
