Bootle FC v. Witton Albion

Witton are on the road again on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Bootle in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

The Bucks go into the game in ninth place following their 4-2 success at Hednesford Town on Tuesday night, their third win in four games.

Witton will be looking to address a run of form that has seen them slip into the bottom four following a winless run stretching back seven games.

The Merseyside club will be looking to complete the league double over the Albion following their 2-1 win at the U Lock It Stadium with goals coming from Kenzie O’Neill and Conor Norwood.

Reece Daly’s penalty had levelled the scores before O’Neill’s winner but Albion’s cause wasn’t helped by James Hooper’s early dismissal.

One person who won’t feature in Ben Harrison’s team selection is forward Elliot Rokka who has departed the club this week.

The lack of goals has been a major concern so far and the management team will be hoping that improves in the coming games.

Three of the past five meetings between the two teams have ended all square with the Bucks winning the other two.

Witton hope that changes this time around but they face another tough test.

Kick off at the Berry Street Garage Stadium is 3pm.

Best of luck to the lads, hope we start rebuilding our season starting today. UTA

Unfortunately, the match has been postponed due to the severe weather conditions.

A new date will be announced in due course and information will be posted on here when details are available.

Weather permitting, we are scheduled to travel to Hanley Town on Tuesday night in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture with a 7.45pm kick off.

Bloody Hybrid Pitches!

No surprise as the Everton v Liverpool is also off.
