Bootle FC v. Witton Albion

Witton are on the road again on Saturday afternoon when they travel to in-form Bootle in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

The Bucks are in excellent form at present and are unbeaten in seven games including five successive wins.

The two side have met twice already this season with the league game at the U Lock It Stadium finishing all square.

Courtney Duffus equalising for the Bucks after Joe Duckworth’s spot-kick had put Albion in front.

They were also drawn together in the Isuzu FA Challenge Trophy at Berry Street Garage Stadium and Witton progressed on penalties after another drawn game.

Witton will be looking to continue their improvement in form following last weekend’s excellent result against Vauxhall Motors, but Bootle will be hoping to carry on with their winning run as they push towards the play offs.

Victory for the Bucks can push them into the top five, depending on other results but Albion will be doing everything they can to halt their charge.

Kick off at Berry Street Garage Stadium is 3pm.
