Brian Pritchard strengthens his squad

From the Official website:

Witton added to their squad at the weekend with the signing of 20 years old Thomas Schofield from neighbours Knutsford F.C.

This continues WAFC’s policy of giving young, local talent an opportunity

Born 24th November 1990 in Trafford, he is a tall player who plays as a wide attacking midfielder and has scored 3 times for Knutsford in 9 appearances this season.

He comes highly recommended by Chief Scout Terry Murphy and coach Nigel Deeley and he also had trials for Altrincham and impressed in the summer of 2010.
Witton Albion have fought off attention from other EvoStik NPL Div 1 (N) clubs for his signature and would like to thank Knutsford chairman Jimmy Evans and manager Paul Schofield (also his dad) for their help & support.

Welcome to the club, Thomas.
