Brighouse Town AFC v. Witton Albion Academy

Witton’s Academy team are back in action following the half-term break, when they travel to West Yorkshire to take on Brighouse Town in an ESPFA Northern Division fixture on Thursday afternoon.

Brighouse currently prop up the division following a difficult start to the season in which the have lost all of their games so far.

Witton will be looking to continue their excellent start that has seen them win their opening three games and scored 21 goals in the process.

Martyn Irvine’s team came away from current Northern Division Champions Runcorn Linnets in their last game, winning 3-2 and ending Linnets unbeaten league run which stretched back to the start of last season.

Brighouse face a daunting prospect having been overwhelmed by Witton at the U Lock It Stadium, where they leaked twelve goals but will be looking to avoid a similar outcome in the return meeting.

Kick off at The Yorkshire Payments Stadium is 12pm.
