Witton’s Academy team continue their ESPFA National Cup campaign on Thursday afternoon when they travel to Brighouse Town in a Northern Group fixture.
Following three successive wins in the group stages so far, Witton go into the game leading the group and in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
The two league meetings saw the West Yorkshire side take four points from the Albion following a 4-2 win in the home game, Witton fighting back from a 4-0 half time deficit and very nearly claiming a share of the spoils.
The return league fixture saw one of the Albion’s best performances at the U Lock It Stadium but they had to settle for a point in a goalless draw.
A tough game is expected but if Witton can show the same level of performance as they have in recent weeks then it’s surely not beyond them to continue their winning run.
Kick off at The Yorkshire Payments Stadium is 12pm.
