Witton slip to tenth in the table following today’s results.
We complete the season next Saturday when we welcome Sporting Khalsa to the U Lock It Stadium for a 3pm kick off.
Overall the best team won! Sadly Tom Hoyle wasn’t fully fit and Alfie Bairstow missing reduced our chances of winning this one.
We gifted them a goal with a daft mistake and they were consistently fouling our keeper on corners but never given by a pretty poor ref.
With hindsight maybe should have started Brazel who did well when he came on at half time, but it’s hard to be too critical when they Bury have such a big and expensive squad!
Witton’s best players for ,me were Cam Terry, Matt Cook and Geoff Ebhote.
Good noise from our travelling fans and I would add 4-1 flatters them. UTA
