Well,disappointed but happy with a draw and a point .Buxton have, for a long time, been a bogey team for us so no worries and bring on Chorley.

Enjoyed our day today. Got to ground early (parked right outside), had a walk into town, a pint and then burger and chips sat outside at a local cafe! Enjoyed the game. I suppose a draw was a fair result in the end but being 2 0 up it was disappointing to only get one point. Good following from Witton fans who I hope enjoyed Josh’s goal! Bring on Chorley!!! SBL
First half we should have been out of sight 4 maybe even 5, Josh Hancock again ran the show and what a goal, Second half just didn’t come out of the changing rooms, once Matty Woods went off they ran us ragged down their right, although to be fair there was a two footed shocking tackle on Ashley Stott that was a definite penalty but with his fingers in his ears the ref saw or heard nothing! A draw was probably a fair result in reflection and great banter from their fans in the first half ‘YOUR JUST A SMALL TOWN IN MATLOCK’ mooney
Given the way we played first half i felt abit robbed after the game but having slept on it a good point which i would have settled for before start of play. Thought we lost our shape second half and in reflection a draw just about a fair result. Abit of luck and killing teams off and we will be turning the draws into wins no doubt about that, just so pleasing to see us holding our own in this league and looked the better side overall in every game i’ve seen so far.
Really enjoyable day out, lovely scenic drive over, sunshiiiiine, and a few cold ones happy days. And afterall HEY HO…LETS GO :whistle:

Still unbeaten and a decent point at Buxton as the Doc says a bit of a bogey ground for the Albs, I guess tho 2-0 up you would expect all 3 points which would keep us up at the top, still well placed and ready to push on. UTA
