Buxton vs Witton Albion.

Witton travel to Buxton on Tuesday evening in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Derbyshire club are having a rather inconsistent season so far, being very good on their travels but struggling in front of their own supporters at present. Going into the game they have suffered four defeats in the five league games so far played at The Tarmac Silverlands Stadium. They left it late at the weekend but progressed through to the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Challenge Cup by squeezing past Evo-Stik South opponents Alvechurch, scoring the decisive second goal in the last minute after trailing with five minutes to go. A tie against Vanarama National League Gateshead now awaits them. Witton go into the game on the back of a difficult week and hope to improve on recent results, whilst at the same time complete the double over their hosts but, encounters against Buxton are always very tough and Witton can expect another hard test this time around. Kick off at The Tarmac Silverlands Stadium is 7.45pm.

I’m sure there’s still some seats on the supporters bus,so why don’t some of you join us and give the lads some much deserved support?
I’m sure that they’re just as disappointed with the results as late as we are and they want to turn things around. Let’s do our bit to help them.

A 16 seater is in use but not many seats left - only around 3 at lunchtime Monday.

The very best of luck to the lads, lets hope Carl can weave some magic and get us back on track with a result even a draw would be fair. Wont guess at the team because not heard anything about fitness or availability re players. UTA

Best of luck lads.
