Buxton vs Witton Albion.

Witton look to continue their winning run on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Buxton in a Northern Premier League fixture. The Bucks are enduring a difficult season so far which is something of a surprise, considering the quality they have at their disposal. In Liam Hardy, they have one of the league’s most lethal strikers and is someone who will need careful watching. Their recent form has seen them thrash Grantham Town 7-0 and then lose to FC United of Manchester by the same score. Witton’s last visit to Tarmac Silverlands Stadium during last season, saw one of Witton’s best performances in the campaign beating them 5-0. In the last few days, the Witton squad has been added to with the arrival of four additions which will undoubtedly allow the management team more options as the season progresses. Games against Buxton are always entertaining encounters and Witton have a good record in Derbyshire so hopefully that will continue. Witton have given themselves an excellent chance of reaching the Play offs, only two points away and with games in hand on the teams above them. Kick off at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium is 3pm.
