The starting team was not quite correct, Smart was on the bench and Tom Owens started. After the recent upturn, we were poor today, midfield was awful and we missed Goulding in there, with him replacing Wardle at centre half and we missed Wardle at centre back. Buxton were good value for the win and 2-0 flattered us! Players off form and some not really at our level were an issue if we lose key players we struggle it seems. Not a great day at the office.
Starting line-up posted was how it was given to me so apologies for any errors.
No need to apologise you do a great job and I’m sure it was what was said I believe the team changed after the warm up ?
Smart started the game wearing No 6. Tom Owens came on at half time, For some reason (shirts size?), Tom Owens came on wearing Smarts shirt (the No 6), and Smart changed to the number 12.
I assume the referee was aware of this.
No Owens started, smart on the bench, smart came on at half time for McKenna. Unless I was at the wrong game ?
Also at half time Wall came off and Sambor went on and he looked ok, think he needs a run of games but has got something for sure.
