Buxton have announced that management team Gary Hayward & Mark Ward have left the club with immediate effect.

The Bucks are currently third in the Northern Premier League Premier Division table and have reached the First Round of the Emirates FA Challenge Cup for the first time since the 1962/63 season, where they meet York City on Saturday.

They were knocked out of the Buildbase FA Challenge Trophy on Saturday at home to Colne.

Reading different statements It sounds like a case of the Chairman/owner being a bit of a clown , surely if the manager is happy with the assistants arrangements then the chairman/owner keeps his nose out and lets them get on with preparing for Saturdays game.
