Possible good news for our friends down in Birkenhead:
The Evostik League have asked all clubs to please note that Durham City have requested to take one of the relegation places in our First Division North and this has been accepted by the League and The FA. (I don’t think they can sustain the cost of travelling).
All clubs need to be aware that the press statement relative to Woodley Sports relegation is subject to an appeal by the club if they so wish. If the league sanction imposed on Woodley Sports is implemented then it will be that they will take the one remaining relegation place in Division One North.
The implications of the Northwich Victoria sanction with regards to promotion play offs and relegation will be communicated to all clubs after any appeal to The FA.
