Carl Frost

Carl Frost has signed for your lots favourite team Bradford Park Avenue

Bradford Park ALBION to give them their correct title!!! Their club lays a coach on from Northwich to Bradford every Saturday morning!!!

Frosty had retired due to injuries so not sure in what capacity he has been signed!

Their manager is such an astute football scout that he only signs players who leave our club!

Alistair Brown
Ross Clegg
Steven Connors
Chris Gahgan
Griff Jones
Mark Jones
Darren Hockenhull
Mike Moseley
Carl Frost
John Worsnop

If they sign John Dillon next week then they will be able to field a full Witton XI!!!

Fingers crossed eh?

WOW,
Doesnt news travel fast hey in these circles, not so sure all the news is fact tho!!
i did ask for my release after a good talk with me old mate beni as im really missing the game but after going training have decided its to far to travel but was a very good offer and opportunity.

P.S COME ON THE ALBION !!

Pleased that the injury is not holding you back, there are plenty of clubs a bit closer to home that I am sure would want a player of your ability. A fit and enthusiastic Carl Frost would be a big asset to a club. If you want to play just for the fun of it then why not knock on the door at Barnton or better still Witton Reserves, or Winsford. You could no doubt play at a higher level than any of these but it would give you a route back in until the end of the season and on your doorstep.

Good luck and come and visit us at WP if you are bored on a Saturday.

Such as the Witton Supporters team…

Wincham,
thanks for your kind words, to be honest i have missed the game but feel better for it and you mentioned you have to be fit and enthusiastic as a minimum requiremnt to play at a decent level to do yourself and the fans justice for paying to watch you, unfortunatly because of lack of fitness or injury went my enthusiasm. i had quite a few offers to come out of retirement recently and now im thinking i did this prematurly but the offer that interested me most came from Beni coz i knew him well liked him and the lads i and we know at bradford but after training felt that the travelling was to much for me personally. But im definitly thinking about making my 6th comeback ha ha this pre season (thought id plug it while im here).

Or even Woodley ALBION, nice sunday stroll ;D

good luck carl with whatever you decide to do in football.

will never forget the goal you scored (i think) in the fog at stocksbridge.

TONEE,
HA Ha i remember that well was gutted they took it off me aswell!!

The Supporters Team have never had a game called off for fog… I’m gonna keep on hinting here ::slight_smile:

Ha ha
Apologies Robbo not just yet mate.

Booo!!

Wouldn’t get in our team ahead of big Stu anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Though could quite easily GET ahead of stu… should they decide to run

Depends how bad Frostie’s injury is, surely…?!

;D

erm… if you say so…

I’m not so sure - even if frosty had one leg and a his foot in a block of concrete i think he’d be faster than Stu… but only by a yard or two

Good to hear from you Frosty and glad you seem to be on the mend. I think you should come back to witton and have a go with the reserves to get fit. I’m sure you could help Neil Gill who is a really nice bloke and I bet he could use your experience. That way you could perhaps look at your options in the close season but at least you’d be fit. What ever you decide come back and visit us soon!!

Hey Mona,
Feelings mutual we will have to wait and see what the summer holds, but i am going to give it another really good go.

FROST ON A MISSION

Although Leek Town cancelled Carl Frost’s UniBond registration at the request of First Division North outfit Bradford PA last week, the former Crewe Alexandra striker has decided not to sign for the West Yorkshire outfit.

Frost had been tempted out of retirement by former Leek Town assistant manager Benny Phillips who is now managing Bradford but, after attending training at the Horsfall Stadium, he decided travelling from his Wirral home was too much of a problem.

Instead Frost is helping Leek by watching their opponents and on Saturday he went to watch Fleetwood
who visit Harrison Park next weekend.

Hi Greg,
this is true and all my notes was passed onto yours truelly JV last monday hope they help.
