Witton Albion Football Club are hosting a Celebrity Charity football match on Sunday afternoon, as Alan Sneddon’s “Witton Albion X1” take on SIDLEY FC “ONCE UPON A SMILE X1.” Celebrities from television, the world of sport & members of the Witton Albion playing squad including manager Carl Macauley, captain Rob Hopley and others coming together in support of a charity which offers support to families in times of bereavement. The charity is something which is very close to our Commercial Director Alan Sneddon’s heart and he deserves full credit for organising such an event. Let’s hope that the event can be a great success and that lots of people support it. A fun day is in prospect but the charity is the important aspect. Kick off at Wincham Park is 2pm.
