Through to the Preliminary Round on SATURDAY, 22nd AUGUST when we welcome Nelson to the U Lock It Stadium.

Our scheduled Northern Premier League West Division fixture at home to Wythenshawe FC will be postponed and re arranged for a later date.

Witton kick off their Northern Premier League West Division campaign when they welcome Stalybridge Celtic to the U Lock It Stadium on Tuesday night for a 7.45pm kick off.

Well it’s the FA cup and a win’s a win but we made hard work of it as Chadderton missed chance after chance and we missed a couple maybe but without Edwards and CamTerry ( MoM) we would have lost that game.

Witton fans were surprised to see Ebhote on the bench, arguably our best defender coupled with players on holiday and injuries and suspensions and Sotona injured in the game we looked all at sea!

Hopefully we will be better on Tuesday vs Stalybridge who will be smarting after getting battered at Runcorn 4-2.

Yes, we did make hard work of that!

I agree that Cam Terry was MoM and kept us in it. Thought Ollie McDonough had a decent game and Joe Edwards obviously won the game for us when he came on.

I thought Chadderton were a decent team they played the pitch better, we still struggle with artificial pitches.

However a win is a win and we still haven’t got our best team out yet.

Onward and upward.

Yes, there were several occasions when our players slipped as they tried to turn.

Ben’s post-match comments, he thought Ollie McDonough was the best player on the pitch.
