Very sad to hear that our chairman is stepping down at the club at the end of the season, he has done a sterling job in his time, he will be very hard to replace and I hope he stays involved at the club in some capacity, I wonder who will take over from him ? I hope he has some one in mind as I’m sure he would like to leave the club in good hands. Sometimes in these situations a business man can come out of the wood work but we need someone we can trust implicitly not an unknown like a rush, Vaughan , Connett et al
i would just like to say thank you to mark for taking the club forward, what a brilliant chairman he has been. sorry to see him go, and hope he remains involved with the club. good luck to you in the future. we will miss you here at witton.
Thanks to Mark for guiding us through some very difficult times, and leading us to much better things.
He had the guts to appoint Pritch and Mike to the hot-seat when some chairman may not have, and we have reaped undoubted rewards for that decision.
On a personal note, Mark has always allowed me and Ste to press on with community and junior work, offering us his full support at all times.
A very worthy recipient of the Ethel Stelfox award last season.
A super chairman and a super guy. These will be difficult shoes to fill.
I was gutted to hear about this, although I don’t know Mark that well I have always found him to be very approachable, honest and extremely dedicated to our wonderful club. God knows how much work he has put in over the years that we don’t even hear about. I really hope he stays at the club in some capacity and, has been said, these will be very difficult shoes to fill. Without Mark and the many, many others that do so much for the club I simply don’t think we would be having such great times as we are at the moment. Thank you Mark.
