Final Score.<br>Witton 2 v 3 Middlewich.<br>Although both teams had already qualified for the semi-finals this match would decide who finished top of the group.<br>Witton started the best and were unlucky not to take the lead when Dean Williams brought out an excellent save from the Middlewich keeper in the fifth minute. Witton kept pushing forward and on 15 minutes Williams latched onto a through ball and lobbed the keeper to put Witton ahead. The lead was short lived and Middlewich equalised a few minutes later when a cross from the left was nodded home giving the witton keeper no chance.<br>Middlewich were beginning to get more into the game and only some excellent goalkeeping under pressure ensured that both teams went in on equal terms at half-time.<br>Middlewich started the stronger in the second half and took the lead on 50 mins when a crossfield ball was drilled in at the far post. Witton pushed for an equaliser and a fantastic strike into the top corner from 25 yards by Kurtis Gill levelled the score after 70mins.<br>Middlewich were looking the stronger and once again took the lead after some good work on the left created the opportunity. Although Witton pressed hard for an equaliser they were foiled by some good defending and after the Middlewich keeper went of injured Witton still found it difficult to create a clear cut opportunity. <br>
