Chasetown v. Witton Albion

On the current run of form is it time for a change of management?

For me yes.

We don’t become a bad side over night.

The worrying factor is the amount of goals we are conceding. Oh for a Pritch, Billy Smart or Jordan Barrow to play.

And there’s a common factor with those three.

We seem to be a team of nice players, who can play good football as we’ve seen but maybe too nice and there is no doubt in my mind we need a couple of hard men. Win at all cost types who will break up play and put a foot in when needed centre half and defence, we are also lacking a partner for Hughes!

I’m not sure it’s time to look at replacing Jon, he is doing many other good things at the club and wants to play attractive football which is a breath of fresh air after CM latter era.

I would give him a bit longer to turn it round. UTA

Did not go yesterday first away game I have missed due to weather etc, by all accounts we played a lot better. A centre half to me is priority until we get Ben back.

This is not the time to think about changing manager, Jon has a lot going for him on and off the field. I think it’s player attitude that needs to change we need a win now to bring confidence back and regular games week in week out.

I was very disappointed to see some of the comments following yesterday’s game. Results have been patchy recently and unexpected.

However I feel that we are very lucky to have John and his management team at Witton and feel things will improve and we can soon move on.

Let’s look forward!

I hope you’re right, but I just don’t see it.
