Well back from my hols and looking forward to the match today, which Witton will turn up?
Hopefully the 2 new lads are fit to play, team wise it will be a hard one to pick but I would like to see assuming Ebhote and Brazel are not available.
Well a much needed win and 3 points job done but it was a tale of 2 half’s again.
First half we were the netter side and deserved our lead a nice strike by Duckworth and good header by Garbutt, and the penalty maybe fortunate it was a foul on Bairstow but it looked just outside the box but given by the ref as inside then up stepped Garbut to finish off with aplomb! Thought Edwards was our new penalty man?
Second half good pressure by Chasetown who are not a bad side and we battled hard to keep them out but we faded and needed fresh legs but didn’t do that until it was 3-2!
But through great keeper work by Terry and a penalty turned down and bad misses by them, we hung on until Chasetown went for broke everyone up including the keeper for a corner and the ball broke to Christy Edwards who’s pace took him past 2 players to cut in and squeeze the ball into an unguarded net, all over 4-2.
The stars were Terry and Bairstow but the team put a shift in ! It’s a bit too early to judge the new lads, Walls did ok at right back and Deji Sotona didn’t come on. Good win UTA
