thanks for updates wheels, and well done witton,

No probs TONEEE, I couldnt do any of it without Neil’s help!

Glad to hear we have won :D:D

Very little to say about the game - that burger was nice and Zane is a battering ram!

1st cup win of the week…?

Very enjoyable game - bit scary in the first few minutes but recovered well and scored some good goals especially Ross Thackers ( Goal of the Season ?). Big Zane up front deserves a run in the team as does Ross Thacker. Ben Thornley fit again and played well also.

Gateshead Gateshead you are next !

Keep the faith

One nil down after 45 seconds.

Two nil down after 5 minutes.

We could have lost it, but all credit to the lads for not dropping their heads and fighting back to 2-2 by half-time, especially a wonder goal by Ross.

The 2nd half we totally dominated and ran out easy winners 5-2. Steve Smith scored another wonder goal coming out of the dark, into the shadows to fire a grass cutter into the bottom corner (for those who wer’nt there, the floodlights needed a lot to be desired.)

Players who caught the eye…Ben Hunt was very steady at right-back, Zane Gouldbourne bullied himself around their defence and Ross Thaker caused them to hit the panic button everytime he touched the ball.

Also Dan Shwartz gave another steady performance crowned with a goal which hit both posts, before going in, and Ben Thornley showed his class in the centre of midfield spreading the ball around.

Dave Millington kept a clean sheet for 85mins.

Overall, a good nights entertainment, and a good result considering that they play lower than us in the Pyramid, but have also played 5 league games this season, winning 5 games and conceding no goals.

Gateshead next for the hammer!

well done lads. I hope this finally shows nige that ross should be starting every week, especially this sat. Id like to see a zane/tommo combo up front against gateshead and leave rod to come off the bench. Just got a feeling them two could be a force up front. Thacker and ben thornley on the wings with decent back ups in settle and smith we could be starting to get a quite decent team together here
