Future Rounds
Semi Finals – w/c Monday 11th March 2013
Final - TBA
The Cheshire Senior Cup is being sponsored by Peak Associates for the 2012-13 Season.

If Congleton Town play on Tuesdays, then Pritch will have to have a big squad, as currently, we are due to play away at Kendal in the Evotik Premier League that night, We are also due to play FCUM on the same night at home if FCUM beat Ashton United tonight in the Doodson Cup. If Ashton win tonight, then we are away to Ashton on the 6th February instead.

All very confusing, I would hate to be in Alan Allcock’s shoes at the moment trying to work out all these fixture re-arrangements.

.argument

Not usually bothered about this competition…

But in this case, I hope we give Jim Vince an absolute walloping!

Then give Vics a good hiding in the following round!

Here is one person not going to Vince’s lair .sick
Lair or liar !

I think we should go in full force with snake props and make the loudest noise of the season.

.veryangry .argument .veryangry

Firstly FC won tonight so we are due to play them. From the first post this would appear to be instead of kendal now and also appears to have been switched to ours?
Secondly it had to happen sometime, I wouldn’t give him any satisfaction at all. We should turn up in big numbers and show him how committed we are to our team and let him hear our hiss from behind the sticks. I am sure an overdue 5 year apology will be forthcoming in the press or programme, tongue firmly in cheek!

Will Pritch, Nige etc, shake his hand?

Maybe his neck ?

Vince you’ve been gone,
Vince you’ve been gone,
We’re glad that you left you wa**er.
(Repeat)

In all seriousness, let’s behave ourselves tonight. It’s fine singing songs and so on, but let’s take the moral highground and show ourselves in a positivelight.

:clap

when is the draw for the next round?

 Not sure, there does seem to be a outstanding 2nd Round tie between Stalybridge Celtic and Macclesfield Town that still needs to be played (Tuesday 26th February 2013) the winners of which game will then be at home against Runcorn Linnets in the Quarter-Finals.
Also, Chester FC v Tranmere Rovers is the other remaining Quarter-Final which isn’t scheduled to be played until Monday 4th March 2013. (N.B. Game has been switched from Tranmere).
Then the Cheshire F.A. can perhaps sort out the semi-finals (!)

March 11th is the scheduled week for the semis according to the cheshire fa sit! God knows when the winsford semi will be played in the MCDC if ever this season…

Surely the MCSC should just be a pre season cup in future, makes no sense playing it during the season
Maybe even make it a weekend festival like the 4 team tournament they play at Arsenal pre season, have all 4 teams playing on the Saturday with the final on the sunday but all played at the same venue.

This idea has been presented to MCDFA over the last couple of months and it looks likely to be implemented for the 2014/15 season.

It will take a bit of time to get rules changed and clubs sanction (there are currently 10 teams involved) to go down this road. So as to keep plenty of room for money making friendlies, extensive seeding will also be introduced.

According to Shaun Tuck we have been drawn away to the winners of Chester or Tranmere in the next round of the CSC.
Nice draw

Yes Tuck conducted the draw in his bath this afternoon as he relaxed listening to cotton eye joe! He pulled the home balls out and his toy tug the away! But tranmere/Chester away march 11th

Is that definitely the 11th March, or is it week commencing the 11th March dependent upon which day of the week Chester or Tranmere play their mid week games?

Hope its Tranmere not been there since a Cheshire Senior cup final quite a few years back!
