I was wondering if there was anyone that might be willing to give me a lift to Chester next Wednesday for the Senior Cup Semi Final. Due to health and mobility problems, I am still not able to drive myself yet and although I love the club dearly am unable to afford the trip by taxi as I do for home games.
I would be willing to contribute to any expenses such as fuel etc but this is a game that I don’t really want to miss. I can be contacted through the forum or via my mobile - 07512665376.
Hang on, he hasn’t said he needs a lift yet!! I am making the offer because I hate the idea of a big Wittoner missing a match he wants to go to and my opinion of Mr Foster has not changed one iota.

Thank you everyone for the response so far, really grateful to everyone for their offers of help. Haven’t checked up on the cost of a taxi as yet but, last year I went to the Etihad Stadium by taxi and the fare was £90 return. The distances are not much different so I’m not expecting it to be much below that!
Flaming Hell!! For £90 I would take you to London!! I do hope you get a lift but my offer is open if you don’t. Please let me know ASAO so I an arrange to be available as I am going to Cheltenham Races the next day!

Nipped to see Wheels and just about managed to get his wheelchair in my Aygo with both back seats down. Hopefully Wheels will be able to get into the front seat, we will see on Sunday. Is no one else going who could take him who has a bigger car? I am happy to do it but it will be a tight squeeze. I promise to go even if someone else takes Wheels!!! (Probably on the bus if there is room.)

I have to say the only thing that I find hard to fathom is why I am the only one on here to offer Wheels a lift, perhaps others did directly but if they did I don’t know about it. Is there no one out there with a biggish car who can do the honours? I can get us both there but in my little car Wheels is not exactly going to be comfortable so if you have a bigger car and can do the honours please let us know.

Just to let you all know, particularly those with big cars that not to worry Wheels can just about squeeze into my car with his wheelchair and he will be there tomorrow.

Just reading the New Testament it says ‘that the good samaritan did his deed and then with gods permission he made sure everyone knew about it through social media’
