So then, after Saturday’s heroics, we face a much tougher test on Tuesday night. Chorley will no doubt be in the top five of this league next April, so tomorrow’s game will be arguably one of our toughest matches of the season. Although after their 5-4 win last friday against Stocksbridge PS, I have no doubt that there will be a few defensive frailties that we could look to exploit, providing we keep it fairly tight at the back ourselves.
I’m assuming that we will will be without Stevie Connors. I though Rory Fallon did a great job against Blyth and looked a very valuable asset, so I’m sure he will do the job again tomorrow. We’ll also hopefully see further development of the Tuck/Stott partnership up-front, there was a few good touches between them on Saturday and they look to be gelling well.
Let’s get behind the team and propel them to get something out of the game, even a point would be a fantastic result.
It will definately be a test but has the makings of a great game. No reason why we can’t go into the game with confidence and carry on the superb away form that we showed last season.
On the Chorley forum they are hoping for 1,000 attendance! which would make for a great atmosphere. We need to be loud and proud - it really does make the difference.
I sent emails to both Chorley and Worksop asking for information to be included in last Saturday’s programme but information was not forthcoming from either club.
The only information I have to hand for tonight is that parking is rather limited at Chorley.
Admission Prices: Adults £9, Concessions £5.
only just got back in from south wales working so cannot make it tonight but good luck to the lads, will be waiting anxiously on the web ? agreed this will be a very tough test as we knmow chorley will be in the mix at the end of the season, whereas Blyth we have no idea of there strength to be honest.
