Thats not very nice Rabbit - you could make some Liverpool fans very angry !
Yep.
What do you call a Liverpool fan with a bottle of champagne?
A waiter.
Help! does anyone know how to cancel an eBay bid ?
I made an offer for a micky mouse outfit and now I am 6 minutes from owning Liverpool football Club.
[Sent to me by a rabid MUFC supporter].
Roy Hodgson was seen leaving Anfield last night in his car at 100mph blowing his horn with a can of Stella in his hand. When stopped by the police he was heard to say I will do anything for 3 points !!!
I had a fiver on the underdogs to win yesterday.
Gutted that it didn’t come in.
Long may it last.
I see the most educated supporters in the world staged a limp wristed protest against their Yankee owners.
One thing for sure, this was no fluke by Blackpool,Holloway is no-bodies fool.Holloway and Simpson are part of a group of very promising future England managers.
This is a great shot in the arm for true British football people.
Recent experience tells me he would get 12 points!!!
It’s nice to see Everton above Liverpool in the league but surely those pink shirts deserve a points deduction.
Shocking comment!!!
Sorry - my mistake. I thought I was on the Witton Albion forum but I was obviously wrong…
I’m guessing things are a bit quiet around here tonight…
Just waiting for the bandwagon to come past then I can jump on too…
And before anyone asks where my sense of humour has gone, well… I take it you comedians are currently Chelsea supporters? (at least for this season, anyway… ).
Having seen our own beloved team sink into the mire over the last few years, I would have thought you might have had some sympathy for those LFC supporters who are having to endure lots of pain at the moment. Kinda drains you after a while!..
Feel free to post as often as you want Central Grounder, the more the better. On the basis that’s your third post in 10 months it’s hardly surprising it’s quiet!
I don’t quite understand your post, this thread is in the miscellaneous section of the site?

Rabbit, it has taken me months to work out how to use the “new fangled” site! Didn’t even KNOW we had a “miscellaneous” section!!! I guess that’s “progress” for you…
Not being one of the established clique, I’ve found that my posts have been largely ignored, so I just presumed that I was just considered “one of those old farts to be ignored”. I’m amazed that you even read my last two posts!..
Looks like Liverpool have just swapped one set of Americans for another ! Lpool fans must hope these have some money !!
There is not or should be an ‘established clique’, forums are there for everyone to post on and express their opinions on games, performances of players, tactical decisions and everything else club related. There are sections for miscellaneous posts, comments on other teams and everything else. From a personal perspective I don’t think that anyone who supports the club should ever feel unwelcome or put off from posting in here. If that happens then truthfully the thing may as well be closed down as it’s outcome is negative and not positive.
I read most posts and think that most wittoners that use this site do the same. If nothing has been posted then people sometimes just log-in, see the same posts from a few days ago and log-off. The key to a successful forum is to generate activity. Everyone is not going to agree with someone’s post, but that’s the whole point, it’s about opinion and debate.
It frustrates me when people post “it’s quiet on here”, but they have posted a few times in the last 12 months. With that volume it’s only ever going to be quiet.
We need people to post more, not less.
Foreign ownership should not be allowed as it currently is. Chelsea, Liverpool, United, City are all the personal ‘play things’ of wealthy individuals. Clubs are thrown into debt, either bank/asset funded or through high net worth individuals, neither is good. Manchester City’s wage bill was higher than their income and that is without the transfer fees paid! The losses were £121 million. This is fine whilst someone picks up the bill but the wages and contracts will still be in place when they get bored. What say the owner fancies owning a Formula 1 Team instead of football? If they don’t win anything how long will it last? The guy has only been to see them play once!!!

In Liverpool’s case it could be out of the frying pan and into the fire. The whole rules on ownership need seriously looking at.
But apparently the new owners already have red socks so a shared kit system will help reduce costs.
