The Purps have appointed former Colwyn Bay, Marine & Prescot Cables boss Kevin Lynch as successor to Paul McNally.
City of Liverpool FC have parted company with manager Kevin Lynch following their 5-1 defeat at Congleton Town on Boxing Day - the Purps twelfth defeat in row.
He was appointed on 6th November and oversaw eight games which all ended in defeat.
Their next game is at home to leaders Widnes on New Year’s Day.
