Witton complete the league double over Clitheroe and climb to ninth in the table.
We are next in action next Saturday when we welcome Shifnal Town to the U Lock It Stadium for a 3pm kick off.
With a much changed team due to injuries and absence, we didn’t expect too much from the game before kick off but the lads played pretty well and battled hard for a good 2-0 win courtesy of Garbutt and Deji Sotona strikes in both halves.
The back 5 were very good and were helped by poor finishing by Clitheroe who were not great overall. The midfield 4 were very good with Sotona providing the threat.
My MoM was Lawrie who worked so hard in front of the defence, but a good overall team effort 4 wins on the bounce now.
