After cutting it so fine with the Guisley trip, do we not think it would be better leaving a little earlier?
AA has it as 112.5 miles, at a journey time of 2 hrs 7 mins (by car).
I’d say leaving at 11am would be better, and will probably see us there at 1.30pm - allowing plenty of time to build an atmosphere!!!
Put me down for a space if not already done so, and i hope we are able to make it a 70 seater, as that would be a superb turnout for what could be a season-defining game.
Thanks to everyone who has responded so far on here and via text msg. Its fair to say we’re looking at a rather sizeable following!
Please let me know sooner rather than later if you do want to go.
Saturday 19th April 2008 is the day of destiny when North Ferriby United take on champions elect Witton Albion at Church Road.
Ferriby’s aim - to take all three points from Albion to not only dent their championship hopes but to add three points to the Ferriby tally and move us further away from the relegation zone.
So what do we want?
What do we want?
We want you, you and you and you and you.
“As Chairman of North Ferriby United I want as many people as possible at Church Road to cheer on the lads in what is our last home game of the season,” says Les Hare.
“Anyone with an interest for North Ferriby United should be at Church Road this coming weekend as we want your support. This is a massive game for the club and we want you there to enjoy the experience”
Witton Albion have already been in contact with the club to say they are bringing two extra coaches to the ground this week with it being their last away game of the season. Do we want to be outnumbered by the opposition - NO.
If everyone who normally comes down can bring just one person down we can have a real party atmosphere. If we can get the three points from this game it could well take us clear of the relegation zone and be playing inthe Unibond Premier Division next season.
Come on, Hull City are not at home and you don’t really want to go shopping do you, come and watch football. Let’s see if we can get an attendance close to 400 people or even more for this most vital of games.
But even if you don’t come yourself send somebody else in your place as there’s plenty of food, drink and football for everyone.

See you Saturday
They were always going to make a big deal of this game, it’s a chance for them to make more money if nothing else. If we go there with 3 points from tomorrow night (not really appreciating the huge rain clouds at the moment) then I can see us taking all 3 on Saturday too.
Its worked out great for me. Im working at a wedding, just 10 minutes away from the ground;) My start time is 5:45pm. I will be finishing at 8:45pm if anyone needs a lift home later ?
Good luck to all you guys going to this game, you deserve a win just for taking on the journey. It will not be easy but I am sure Witton can do it especially after a win tonight.
