COLWYN BAY FA TROPHY

On paper an absolute cracker . Both teams riding high, scoring goals and mean in defence, which makes me hope that Gary will strangle the life out of the game and we will score deep into injury time.My only concern, which supports my glass half empty beliefs,is that Colwyn have a forward on loan from Tranmere and he scored two on saturday.I am always a little uneasy about loanee forwards from a higher league causing us problems.

If he’s only just gone there on loan,he may not be eligible for Saturday.
Not that we should worry too much about the opposition anyway. We’ve got permanent strikers who can cause them problema!

In the case of a draw, would this go to extra time and pens or replay?

There would be a replay and then if the game is still level it would go to extra time and pens.

Anyone else staying over in the bay?

Is there a direct train from Northwich to Colwyn Bay and back?
WHS>

WHS…no direct trains but myself and a few others are catching the 10.12 northwich to chester train and then catching the 10.55 from chester to colwyn bay, arrives at 11.42…same journey back with trains leaving colwyn bay on the hour

Come on the Albs we bombed out of the FA Cup, a nice run in the Trophy would be grand!! Shout them on all who are going Colwyn one of my fav trips but I’m working Sat so can’t make the trip!!

Thanks Yorkshire Red, my wife is in Paris visiting our grandson so I am on my lonesome for a week. I may well decide to have a day out by the seaside if the weather is anything like.
WHS.

The is 10-12 places available on the team coach, leaving Wincham at 11:30pm @£10 per head. Let Pete Riley know if you want to reserve a place.

Posted details of a friendly local pub on the “Train” thread.
