Colwyn Bay vs Witton Albion (FAT.1Q)

Witton travel to North Wales on Saturday, when they take on Colwyn Bay in the Buildbase FA Trophy First Qualifying Round. The Seagulls have experienced an inconsistent season so far following their relegation from the Premier Division but they will be looking to make progress on both fronts in the Trophy and the league. The game represents the fourth meeting between the two clubs in the FA Trophy over the years and each of the previous three were played in Wales, with Albion coming out on top in two of the games. This encounter has added interest due to the number of players involved, who have featured for both clubs. No less than five of the current Seagulls squad have also worn Witton’s colours whilst Albion have in their ranks a similar number. Witton will feel confident that they can continue their good form and hopefully progress into the next round but, Colwyn Bay will provide a difficult test for them and with this being Cup football, anything can happen. Kick off at Llanelian Road is 3pm.

Any updates on injuries/absence eg Brown is he close to fit yet ? and Benjamin is he available yet ? other than that I guess we should have a full squad apart from the long term injury to Cameron. Would be great to see a full strength team out as this will un-doubtably be a tough test. UTA
