Come & Watch The Reserves This Week

Just in case you’re suffering from withdrawal symptons!! There are a couple of matches being played fairly locally for you to support the Witton Albion Second String.<br><br>Now relieved of 1st team duty then the Reserve Squad should be strengthened by not only the respective players return but also they should not be too travel and match weary.<br><br>The matches are:-<br><br>WEDNESDAY MAY 3rd Kick-off 6:45pm at Daten (Final league fixture) so come and help us celebrate their fine guaranteed runners-up spot.<br><br>Directions to this ground are:-<br><br>Ground: Culcheth Sports Club (The Daten), Charnock Road, Culcheth WA3 5SH Tel: 01925 763096<br><br>Approach: From M6 Jct 21 take the B road heading northwards and parallel to the M6 until the roundabout junction with A574. Turn right onto A574 towards Culcheth/Leigh and cross the M6. Turn left at the 1st roundabout and travel through Birchwood, over M62, past HM Remand Centre, Risley and into Culcheth. Pass Harrow Inn on the right, library on the left and at the end of the row of shops on the right, turn right into Charnock Road.<br><br><br> * * * * * * *<br><br>Then on SATURDAY MAY 6th - Kick-off 2:30pm it’s the Semi-Final of the MCL Presidents Cup away at Crosfields. the tie is played to a finish - extra time , penalties. <br><br>Directions to this ground are:-<br><br>Ground: Hood Lane Recreation Ground, Gt Sankey, Warrington<br>Tel: 01925 411730<br><br>Approach: From centre of Warrington leave travelling West on the A57 passing Levers/Faberge and along Sankey Way. Keep straight on at large roundabout after 1 mile. After a further mile turn right at the traffic lights, by the David Lloyd Centre, into Cromwell Avenue. Take 1st left at next island into Cannons Road then 3rd left into Hood Lane North. Ground at end on the left<br>

cannt make the last game now it has been switched to Wednesday, but thanks to Steve and all the lads for a great season plenty of memories from my first season with the club.<br>Pre season the reserves would have been happy with a mid table finish now we are fed up we where pipped at the post from winning it.<br>Will be there on Saturday for the semi it will be a tough one played on a crap pitch but you never know !!!
