Just to wish you all, even Mr. Forster the Compliments of the Season.( Do you think he will ever change or do you think he will always be a "Wind up Merchant?)
WHS.
All the best to you and your family Alan, to be fair fozzie has been quite well behaved only a couple of times going beyond, but he is a niggly in your face striker but he has worked hard since signing, certainly not worth missing the albs for maybe he is maturing and enjoying his football more.
All the best to all wittoners
It’s getting pretty boring this WHS.
Compliments of the season WHS.
Is this where u have been hiding in Fo(r)ster Avenue ?

And of course seasons greetings to all, especially JR but bah humbug to oldco and newco
Happy christmas to all Wittoners. See those who are going to FCUM on boxing day for a festive three points hopefully guinness
WHS - Fozzie has been brilliant for us, holds the ball up superbly to give the rest of the team abit of a breather and we look far more threatening with him going forward. And Pritch mentioned at the supporters meeting that he is brilliant off the pitch aswell with his help/advice for the younger, less experienced lads. He might get in peoples faces now and again but for me we need to have one or two in the team that will do that. Not seen him do anything in the slightest bit malicious to date, you are missing out.
I really don’t get why anyone wouldn’t go the game coz we signed a certain player! It’s ridiculous. Every team needs a player like fozzy. I can’t stand wayne rooney but if he pulled a witton shirt on then hey-ho
Rooney wouldn’t get in !!!
What a pointless topic and most of all what a prat! :red
I respect anyone’s opinion, but to stop supporting your club because we’ve signed a (bloody good) player is laughable.
WHS has his opinion, and that is his right.
He has made his feelings clear, and is clearly sticking to his guns.
I have no issue with that.
Whilst some of us work ourselves half to death trying to attract extra supporters to games, a life-long fan decides to turn his back on the club because he doesn’t agree with one signing.
But that’s his choice. I do feel it’s one he has failed to back up with a cast-iron argument to support it, but that’s by the by.
It remains his decision.
What i can’t accept though his his constant criticism of the club on the Northwich Guardian website. Criticism that has become so strong that the Guardian have now felt the need to remove some of his most recent comments.
So WHS feels he would rather stop following the Albs than watch a team containing last season’s NPL Player of The Season…
Personally i’m of the opinion that Steve Foster holds the moral high ground on this one.
Merry Christmas Fozzie!!
Just to say that whilst most people may find my reaction over the top I am happy to confirm that I hate cheating and cheats and make no apology for that position. We are viewed as a wonderful family club with a great reputation, Mr Forster, purely in my opinion does not enhance that reputation.

Fozzie has not cheated for us once. He is the best signing we have made for a long time in my opinion.
What did you think of Bales booking for diving (again) today? Presumably you have stopped supporting Tottenham aswell?
Poor old bale, refs should look more closely as he is being clipped! . Heard he is on dancing on ice soon, let’s hope he can stay up on the ice
Re Topic - thanks for the sentiments but if WAFC went under no doubt WHS n Eli would be anongst those in town bemoaning their passing, and then and only then may they reflect on the absolute pettiness of their self enforced exiles(our families have known each other for 40 plus years and it saddens me that alleged ‘good Wittoners’ won’t support their club anymore) reminds me of another lot locally!
Anyway compliments of the season to Wittoners one and all and a special mention to those no longer able to attend-much love to the Central Ground in the sky.x
Who is this Mr Forster, anyway? I don’t know of any player called that who currently plays for Witton.
I support Witton Albion.
The names on the back of the programme change season after season.
The badge on the front of the shirt remains the same,
I couldn’t care less what a player has done to win points for their old team, providing they give 100% every time they play for mine.
If they do that, then i will offer the same support that i offer to the club that i love.
If they let let my club down whilst wearing it’s colours, then they lose my support.
To me, it’s as simple as that.
This topic must be a great confidence boost for Steve Foster if he reads yet another character assassination by a supporter, give the man a break he is the best centre forward in the NPL in my opinion.
