Sorry as they are no longer officially Witton players and are jumping on the Bradford Park Albion bandwagon I do not wish them well. I’m also annoyed with Benny’s letter in the guardian yesterday so more of that later. To be honest Steve is a loss but not that big a one as if you think about it he was sometimes a liability anyway, (too many bookings) and going for Bryan Robson like tackles that he had no chance of winning. I like the lad but I’m sure we have a new rottwieler in the shape of Danylyk from Leek. Jim knows what he’s doing!!
Said it before that I think we will miss Steve more than most as proved last season when he missed (a lot) of games through suspension and I thought the midfield suffered but if he needs or wants to take the silver dollar so be it Witton are, and always will be bigger than one player and I look forward to seeing the new lads we have on boad
