I noticed on sky sports before that Crewe have released Junior Brown & Nick Farquarharson. I wonder if we can afford these two next season?? We could definately do with Junior, thought he was a great prospect in the last few games of the season that he played for us.
Surprised that they have released Junior, he seems to be a top class footballer. Don’t think Farquarharson is good enough for us.
Greg, your probably right about Farquarharson, although he did get a few goals for Nantwich this season. He was a bit raw and uneasy on the ball but I thought he has potential

Junior would be a great addition to the squad.
I would love to see junior at wincham park next season, he looked a great player. It would be a massive signing for us.
It’s things happening like this that displays the urgency of sorting out are manager position, and agreeing budgets with him.
If budgets do drop, then Jim may feel that promises he made to players would make his position untenable. I hope this doesn’t happen.
Maybe we can have a flexible budget? Start with what Jim wants, but keep a close handle on it. If new opportunities to raise money for the team don’t materialise by Xmas, then we will have to slash the budget, and let players go.

It would be nice to see junior sign for Witton,but under the current situation,and the club being managerless,could we afford any transfer fee that Crewe may be asking for junior,or are Crewe letting him go on a free.?
Crewe have released him, so we wouldn’t have to pay anything (apart from his wages)
