After filling their boots at Leigh in midweek the confidence should be high for what should be a good encounter with Curzon who are also pushing for a top five spot and have ex Albion Paul Booth,Cavell Coo and recently signed Mahoney in their squad. I just might put in an appearance for this one !
Eli who?
And it’s also Anton who ? Matthew(Holt) who ? Ashley who ?
and soon to be Richard who ?
Who said it was not about money ?
Let’s hope at Wincham Park it’ll be Curzons for Ashton.
We don’t want to draw either.
Pull yourself together

…and from what I have heard, it is Lee who, Tom who, Cameron who and Alex who tooooooo.
AS I see it we have 21 league games left and basically no cup ties apart from the trip to Skem which I don’t think will see us turning out our best eleven. With so few fixtures left and virtually eveyone who is likely to figure in the squad fit it was obvious some players would have to go, we simply cannot afford “fringe” players, we are not Manchester City, or even Salford City for that matter. I still think we will make the play offs, though I have to say that I was surprised that Stott has gone, but in Kinsey and Frost we have two first class strikers, hopefully they will stay injury free, for the plain fact is we cannot afford to have players sitting on the bench every week on the off chance we will have injuries, not at this point in the season anyway. I understand our financial position is stable, but we cannot be paying out money we don’t have it, only leads to trouble, have a look over the canal. I badly want us to do well but I agree with the board that we have to stay within certain financial constraints whilst doing so, it is hard but it is the ONLY way. The only thing that saddens me is that too few of the team are youngsters which does not bode well for the future.

Very attractive game.So what if some of the bigger players have moved on.This is a fact of life and prevents us from becoming AFC WITTON.I have no problems with the concept of players moving to better things.
Lets roll up our striped sleeves under the additional comforting gaze of Terry and Nigel.
FORZA WITTON AND ALL WHO SAIL IN HER.
Best of luck to the team today, due to other commitments I cannot make it today but I will be there in spirit.
