Goalkeeper Danny Roberts has now been released by the club and is believed to be joining Glossop North End.
Huge loss a very good keeper, the best we have had for some time
Dread to think where we’d be in the league without him this season
Note to self. When a player tells you that he’s staying take it with a pinch of salt!
Sad but inevitable, but we now need an experienced keeper PDQ like today, the young lad has done ok with shot stopping but he is too young to deal with the physical demands of this league and therefore struggles to control his box with any authority.
Danny asked me in the week to pass on his best wishes to everyone at the club and wishes us all the best for the future. He said it was a difficult decision and one he has not taken lightly and he will miss everyone xx
Danny is one of the few players that always gave 100% and I wish him all the best. See you un the New Year when we play you at the.NetDec stadium
