Have just been reading on Rushall’s website that Dave Walker’s contract has been terminated by mutual agreement. There is also confirmation on a video link with Rushall’s manager as to why this has happened.
Not sure we can afford a double hernia operation but it would be great to see Dave pull on a Witton shirt again. Gave us the lift we needed in a tough time
Rather than constantly bringing in new players what I would love to see is the same eleven turn out for a month or so. Continuity is what I think is needed with players already here given an extended run to show what they can do. I am a great believer of the Bill Shankly maxim “Same team as last year.” and when we had our most successful spell the team was virtually the same every week.

You’ve got a point there WHS but what if that eleven aren’t good enough?
If you don’t give them an extended run how do you find out? I would rather go down with a settled team than go down chopping and changing every week. I honestly believe that the majority of the players I have seen in the Witton shirt this season were at least good enough to keep us up but only in a settled team. I don’t really blame Mr Pritchard, he has had a lot of injured players to deal with but he needs to get a settled team together and soon or we will go down.
