I have been told that Doc has died, can’t believe it.
Deeply shocked by the news. We hadn’t posted anything on the forum until now out of respect for his family, who had requested that we didn’t. Further information will be announced at the appropriate time and when more details are confirmed.

It is with the greatness sadness that we announce the passing of Vijay Anthwal “The Doc”. Club Doctor Vijay was a key member of the Witton family and will be missed by all Wittoners. We send our condolences to all his family and friends at this difficult time. RIP Doc

I was lucky to have Vijay as my GP for many years as well as knowing him at Witton. Really still haven’t taken this in. Such a great bloke. R.I.P. Doc
