It is being reported on the Guardian website that Doug Gallimore has passed away at the age of 82.
Please can an anyone confirm that this is the former Witton player as there is no mention of the club
Yes, Wheels, it is the same person. Doug starred, predominantly, for Lostock Gralam FC in the '60s and was a prolific goalscorer in the Mid-Cheshire League.
His funeral is at Birches Crematorium on Thursday 13.07.23 at 10am.

Also one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet. Although not as good at dominos as he was at football. (Doug would have appreciated that!)
I remember him playing for Witton, a good player. My condolences to his family.
