I don’t know how many people use this site for raising money for our wonderful club but they have a cracking deal on there at the moment. If you join paddy power casino and create an account, deposit the account with £10 and ‘play through’ (lose) that £10, easyfundraising credit witton with £45!
Now I don’t want to promote gambling, nor do I want people spending money they haven’t got but this seems like a no brainer to me! If we asked all wittoners to give a tenner to the club I would guess that maybe 100 would which would be a not to be sniffed at £1k. If every one of those 100 did this that 1k becomes 4.5k!!
I’ve done it today and the money is already showing as donated to the club. However it would be good to make sure that the funds we are making through this site actually reach the club…
I’ve tried to gamble with you once before Mr Kettle and my golden goal ticket was a “Nil Nil”. I hope this isn’t being transfered to an African offshore account
People have said they want an extra striker if we want that to happen the club needs funds. This is probably the easiest way, you don’t even have to make an appearance. It would be great if someone from the club got involved might give it some extra clout.
Or are we wasting our time trying to generate funds for the club??
Easyfundraising will send you a confirmation email. It will also show up on our cause page.
It took about 2 hours after I did mine, although some retailers on there take up to 30 days to pay up. Great work
Can only echo what woody says. If we can get say 4 people a week doing this between now and the end of the season that’s £180 per week to the club. Surely that would help bring in this mythical New striker or even just put us in a position whereby no further players need to leave
We get a cheque sent to us at the end of every quarter. I was talking to Neil about it at the beer festival and at that time he said we weren’t making a lot from it! Then me and Dave signed up and have steadily been raising money since. Then Dave found the paddy power deal and an extra £270 raised in a single day. We have 61 members signed up, if we were all signed up used it and the easysearch search engine the sky’s the limit to what we could be raising for the club.
