Witton’s Youth team complete their league campaign on Tuesday evening with a trip to Egerton FC. The last few weeks of the season have proved tough for the youngsters in what has been a challenging experience and they’ve generally acquitted themselves well against very strong opposition. The team go into the last game in seventh place in the table and will at least be looking to finish the season on a more positive note but Egerton will make things difficult for them as they aim to complete the double over the Witton charges. Kick off at Egerton Youth Club is 7pm.

Directions: Take the A556 towards Manchester and follow for 4.3 miles. Turn right at lights onto Northwich Road/A5033 (signposted Knutsford), continue for 1.8 miles. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Manchester Road/A50 and follow for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Garden Road/A5083 and continue for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Mereheath Lane. Egerton Youth Club is on the left after 0.4 miles.

Witton’s Youth team ended their North West Youth Alliance season with another defeat as they went down 2-0 at Egerton FC on Tuesday evening. They finish the season in seventh place.

Heswall FC were crowned champions as they completed their campaign with a 7-1 hammering of bottom club AFC Darwen. The result means they pip Stockport Georgians AFC on goal difference.
