Alvin has wanted to sign Dave Eaton for some time and now that he has signed for Marine we are both very pleased. Unfortunately striker Tony Evans, who has only been with us since October, has had to be released.?

Marine Manager Alvin McDonald said, ?I am delighted that Dave Eaton has joined Marine. I would have liked to sign him earlier but that was not possible. He is an experienced forward having played in the Football League for Macclesfield Town and in the Conference with Leigh RMI and his signing now is a real bonus. He will prove to be a great addition to the squad.?
