Ex Chairman

Interesting to see our ex Chairman Mike Worthington down yesterday, I dont think I have seen him down since he resigned , nice to see him down again for all his faults he did literally save the club and put in huge amount of work at the club ( I know lots of others helped too )
maybe there out of respect for David Leather what a 2 minutes silence you could hear a pin drop great respect for a great man, very sorry to miss the funeral but im away on business and cannot make it.

Mr Worthington was there for the Skem game a couple of weeks ago, despite the criticisms of him we have a lot to be grateful for.

Agree LP - I suppose we will never know the full truth of what happened between MW and JV but the ex-chairman did have a vision for the club ( Moss Farm ) which sadly did not come to fruition. He wanted us to flourish and not have to rely on volunteers all the time !

I respect Mr Worthingtons past work for the club but i never bought into the Moss Farm vision. There was always far too many imagine if we could to this or that.I do not think it was realistic and it was all a pipe dream.

I am quite happy to remain at Wincham Park and lets be surrounded by housing, bought from the club at a very competitive price.Lets sit on the gold mine but still not forget our Cheshire roots.

I live in Warrington a town, partly awash with money and nobody gives a rats ass about Warrington Town.Do not be seduced by the Moss Farm vision,it has not happened yet and i hope it never will for our club.

Lets stick to what we know because if we move some fancy dan will promise more than we could possibly imagine.Lets stick to our roots and help develope the regions finest with no nonsense footballing principles endorsed by Terry and Nigel.

Warington town has an excuse in form of The Wolves. That is where probably sponsorship money goes and the footie gets beggar all.Northwich has no such excuse and it seems the local businesses are not interested in local football.Do correct me if I am wrong.

Success brings sponsorship from businesses Vi8 ! When them over the canal had their last good FA Cup run they were inundated with firms wanting to sponsor and get tv exposure. Who in their right mind is going to put cash into either local teams at the minute if they cant see anything for it ?

It’s a chicken and egg situation,no success no money,no money no success.Quo Vadis local footie ??
